765 Home Renovation

  • The renovation of the residence at 765 Moredon Road is a careful act of stewardship, reinforcing the original architectural intent of the Architect Frank Weise while subtly updating the home for contemporary living. The scope included the replacement of 42 exterior glass panels, restoring clarity, performance, and transparency to the existing envelope. Rather than altering the architecture, the intervention preserves the original proportions and rhythms of the façade, allowing light and landscape to continue playing a central role in the experience of the house.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen renovation offered an opportunity for reinterpretation. The design remains rooted in Weise’s modernist framework - clean lines, functional clarity, and spatial efficiency - while introducing a gentle twist on the modern. Refined material choices and slightly warmer textures add depth and tactility, creating a space that feels both architecturally disciplined and inviting for everyday use.

Throughout the project, changes were made with restraint and intention. The renovation prioritizes continuity over contrast, ensuring that new work reads as an extension of the original design rather than a departure from it. The result is a home that feels renewed yet familiar - faithful to its architectural origins while thoughtfully adapted to present-day living.
